Not only are SkyKem fluids and sachets approved for use by British Airways for it’s sub-sonic fleet, they were also specified for Concorde.

Flying at over twice the speed of sound and at 55,000 feet puts extra demands on everything including toilet deodorants, so only the best is good enough.

After an exhaustive trial it was found that SkyKem deodorants outperformed all other chemicals in the tests and as a result SkyKem toilet sachets were used exclusively on Concorde.

But this technical advance in aircraft hygiene brings with it yet another benefit. It is actually more cost effective than ordinary sanitisers.
